and infamous for the often confusing way in which it's taught in a classroom setting. Many students struggle to fully understand and apply the material. This is why a strong tutor can be a big asset to a student having difficulty with the subject.
Chemistry students often don't do well as they would like, simply but because the classroom environment can hurt their progress. Missing one key idea will show up again and again as the material progresses, and most professors and teachers don't have the time to revist previous lessons or to explain the material in the clearest possible way.
